Product Description

Product Description

Camping is freedom, adventure and tranquility. And with your Fuji generator, you can still hear the kookaburra's laughter as you put the tea billy on the fire. The world's quietest generator, it's as discrete as normal speech, producing a mere 59dB at a distance of seven metres. What's more, it generates a clean sine-wave current without surges, making it perfect for sensitive electronics such as computers and electronics. So there's no reason you shouldn't enjoy all the indoor convenience in the great outdoors. Grab your Fuji generator today and make yourself a home, sweet home in the bush!

The Fuji was designed with one thing in mind: convenience in the outback. A sine-wave unit, it's much more compact and portable than standard generators, weighing in at only 28kg. Transport wheels and an extendable pulling handle add to the convenience, making set-up easy for a single user.

Getting connected is a cinch. Whilst other generators requires you to pump away 50-100 times for the initial start, your Fuji features advanced primer technology, asking for just 10 quick pumps. And firing up is done in the blink of an eye. You can switch the unit on by the turn of a key, with the included radio remote control or the easy pull-start backup. Power will always be within your reach.

Of course, once you have the power, you will want to keep it. The Fuji makes sure that you can. Manufactured from rugged ABS plastic and stainless steel, it is produced by the makers of Honda, Yamaha and other blue-chip brands, offering ultimate dependability. This also means that spare parts are readily available. So, with your Fuji generator, you can sleep well at night – with the lights on or off. Order yours today and put a real spark into camping!

Tried each of the two remotes having troubles starting but was only finger trouble, after working out the sequencing to the remote buttons it started beautifully every time then after 10min of running I plugged the generator into my off road caravan and put varying loads on it, Aircon, Microwave, Lights & also charged the onboard battery packs!!Super happy with all the results!!!Ripper little unit!!Recommend this product !!!.. View MoreTwo years later.: Like a few other reviews below I waited sufficient time before going into print so as to get the facts straight and not confuse potential buyers. My unit is a pre EFI model and bought it exactly two years ago and had it delivered from Sydney to Perth, the generator started as per the instruction manual and ran for a short period then cut out, my own investigation and following discussion with the service manager we deemed the fault to be electrical so returned the unit to Sydney for repair as requested by Mytopia.I was told a few days later the controller was at fault and been replaced , the generator was then returned to Perth at companies expense.I ran the unit on several occasions on load prior to our first trip away in the van, the times we needed to use it were all without issue and over this time the van / generator have travelled 30,000 kms and used on many occasions during that time running an Ibis A/C unit a 1Kw water heater and kettles, fans, micro wave and all other equipment when travelling, I have never had a trip or further problems since purchase.I have replaced the fuel cap and the battery once each and now always remove the battery when not in use as it will run down if connected, it also allows me to keep the battery charged and check the voltage easily before a trip.My only complaint as someone else pointed out is the wheels are too small for anything other than a paved surface so not practical when in the bush, I intend to rectify that shortly with a set of add on wheels fitted when I remove the unit from the generator box on the van which will not accommodate any extra height.I only add sufficient fuel each time for my needs so as not to have the tank sitting near full all the time when travelling or in storage, you soon learn how long it will run on load with 1,2,or 3 litres of fuel or a full tank if required, I normally run it dry of fuel before travelling especially in hot weather up north. When this unit expires I would not hesitate to buy the latest version at the time as I know the quality of this product is on par with many others. This may answer some of the complaints persons below have raised about their units .Read full review..... View MoreA good generator, with a real possible 3000 watts, unlike many others.: If you look at the specs it is always a worry if they are true or not. The previous 150cc engine is now 165cc, so if true would indicate a good power improvement over earlier models. If you look at 240 volts x 15 amps single plug maximum allowed output, this is a 3.6kVA maximum, or else the voltage or the amps are exceeding Australian Standards and will likely trip a caravan\'s power board circuit breakers. Any company claiming higher for a single outlet is basically lying. I have seen some claiming 5kVA for the same generator, so you have to be vigilant. What becomes the critical thing, is the power factor. Power factor is defined as the difference, expressed as a percentage, between the voltage and current sine waves. This is determined by the load, not the generator, and powering a mix of electric motors is taken as .8 average. The generator then becomes a 2960 kW generator, which is still plenty to start up a caravan air conditioner. This one was easy to fill with oil from the supplied filler bottle, after I downloaded the correct manual. The printed one sent with it is rubbish and did not indicate the correct amount of oil needed. 450ml of Castrol 10W-40 got it going after connecting the starter battery connection. It was a bit hard to stuff the connected plastic covered connections back into the space they came from, to enable the cover to be put back on. Pumping the bulb after fuelling, with the fuel valve on, and the fuel breather on the cap set to run, choke on, just two key turns of the starter motor got it going. No cord pulling needed, but I used it to check compression, which was high. After running for a while I tested it on "12 volts" charging a car battery, and the readings on the display seemed accurate at 13.6v and a few amps. It took a few goes to get the 12v press button switch to work, and it seems stuck now, not to be able to be turned off. Really doesn\'t matter if the supplied lead with red and black alligator clips, is not plugged in. The display also showed 240 volts 0 amps, which makes it very easy to check what\'s going on.With the eBay discount code, it was extremely well priced, compact and powerful, but not too heavy or loud. It will need to be placed a fair way from the caravan to cut down on the noise, so not a crowded site option, even on eco. About the same noise as a 2kVA Honda. Just keep a written record of all maintenance, with 20 hours for the first oil change etc., to prevent voiding warranty. Part of the display shows running time hours.Well worth buying compared to the outrageous Yamaha and Honda prices!Read full review..... View Less

View MoreGreat Features for the Price: Seems a fabulous product for the price. Started first try and on each of the five or so occasions since. The next test is to see how long it continues to perform. Two negatives. First, the advertising is contradictory and hence confusing. In the context of generators, a rated output of 3.2 kVA does not equate with a power of 3.2 kW but rather with about 2.6 kW. Second, the unit produces more fumes than I was expecting... View Less

Probably broken by the courier but it does look weak anyway. They are sending out a new wheel so no problems. Only other thing is this having a single 240v Power point where others have multiple but otherwise it\'s a nice unit that performed well for me on a full days use. So far so good... View Less
